As a general venture to make the site into a more appealing destination for all you click happy internet explorers we, or more accurately I, have decided to increase our general article output by including an official news category. This category is to be filled with news, as you might expect.
Our news coverage will try to stick closely to game specific announcements and updates but our editorial through-line has always been wobbly at best. Are we a comedy site? Are we “enthusiast press”? Is this just an extension of the YouTube channel? Is it an extension of my ego? Is it actually just an attempt by a cabal of SJWs to infiltrate the games industry?
I don’t have answers to any of those questions, except maybe the last one (yes) but what I can tell you is that I’m chasing down new writers to come in and provide a regular stream of informative and hopefully interesting content. Perhaps you’re one of them? If you are, please don’t hesitate to tell me; it’s probably something I should know!
So the site should seem a little more busy as we move forward. We’d love for you to let us know what’s working and what isn’t, which is what our comment section is for, so have your say as it were.
